Thank you for visiting Rutledge Timberworks! Here you will find handcrafted wooden items which draw their practicality from the real world and their spirit from my imagination. I personally make all of the wares sold here in my small workshop in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Some of my favorite themes which I incorporate into my works are walnut stains and brass accents. My usual design is a dark classic motif, however I also enjoy a warmer styling. I hope that my style is what you are looking for, however I am open to making slight alterations at your request to tailor a product to your preference.

Handmade quality

As all products that I sell are handmade, there are bound to be slight variations between each individual product that I produce, which I believe adds character to each piece.

Some products that are made with plywood may contain small voids, as is normal with plywood. I do my best to eliminate these in my works or at worst have imperfections positioned in locations that are not visible during normal use.

Because I make my products to order I can accommodate reasonable customizations at your request.

Lastly, I aim to ship out your product as soon as possible. My largest limiting factor in this aspect is weather, as I require decent conditions to apply finishes in most cases.

International orders
